To compare what we did right and what we did wrong. Evaluate whether we were able to refine and fine-tune our trading plans, and whether we were able to move closer to an ideal trading system that suits our nature.<br \/>\nYou can read previous HGM self-reflections <a href=\"https:\/\/hgmakademia.sk\/akademia\/sebareflexia-2017-a-hgm-motto-na-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here 2017<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hgmakademia.sk\/akademia\/sebareflexia-2016-a-ciele-na-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here 2016<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>This year in HGM can be evaluated as an exceptionally successful one in all aspects. I don&#8217;t just mean the results themselves, which are of course also important, but I personally see a big shift in the actual tuning of the HGM way of trading. This is more important than the results, because it gives us peace of mind and peace of mind for the future. Knowledge and experience no one can ever take away from us. They will stay in our heads forever.<br \/>\nJust as we wrote in <a href=\"https:\/\/hgmakademia.sk\/akademia\/sebareflexia-2017-a-hgm-motto-na-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last year&#8217;s self-reflection, we <\/a>still struggle with early exits from trades, but also with sometimes unnecessarily early entries into trades.<br \/>\nBut in our defense, I remind you that we have not neglected this topic and have addressed it often. While <a href=\"https:\/\/hgmakademia.sk\/akademia\/skore-vstupy-a-predcasne-vystupy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the result<\/a> is not a clear-cut answer as to when to hold longer and when to exit a trade instead, it is our fine-tuning of the HGM trading system in the last quarter that has brought us significantly closer to making the right decisions on when to hold a trade and when to exit. I won&#8217;t describe the exact reasons, but we&#8217;re clear on that, and that&#8217;s important. It has had a significant impact on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signalstart.com\/en\/analysis\/hgm-signal\/28573\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our recent results.<\/a><br \/>\nWe can clearly state that we have been able to meet our objectives from the previous self-reflection. We have indeed managed to fine tune the HGM way of doing business very nicely and efficiently, and adapt it to our nature and capabilities. We have become more patient and confident traders, with an emphasis on humility.<br \/>\nFor me personally, it is very gratifying that most of you are no longer looking to tweak your system in technique \/indicators\/, but somewhere else entirely. \/MM, portfolio and psyche\/. This is a sign that HGM is fulfilling its mission and you are becoming consistently, and most importantly, stress-free calm earning traders.<br \/>\nIn the coming period we can focus only on such small details as trades in the direction of positive swaps, and similar small things. We may still have reserves of patience, but we have minimized them considerably. Our challenge \/very pleasant\/ will also be the task of how to protect the money we have earned, and to optimize and diversify our profits.<br \/>\n<strong>There is no other option than success.  <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another business year is behind us and so we can briefly summarise it.
